Setting up a profile on 3Threesomes, adding photos and browsing is open to everyone aged 18 and over. When you are ready to start real conversations with couples or singles, you choose a membership. There are two tiers, VIP and VIP Plus, and each is sold for five plan lengths. The prices below are shown in US dollars, exactly as they are charged.
The 3Threesomes price table (USD)
| Membership period | VIP | VIP Plus |
|---|---|---|
| 1 week | $19.99 | $22.99 |
| 1 month | $42.81 | $51.39 |
| 3 months | $102.73 | $128.44 |
| 6 months | $128.31 | $154.03 |
| 12 months | $260.19 | $338.41 |
How renewal works
The week, month, three-month and six-month plans each renew automatically when their period ends, at the price shown in the table, until you cancel. Twelve-month plans, in either tier, are not renewed: at the end of the year the membership simply stops, and you choose whether to buy another plan.
To stop a shorter plan from renewing, cancel before its current period runs out.
VIP and VIP Plus
Both tiers open messaging. To send messages you need a VIP or VIP Plus membership. A sensible moment to choose one is when you have found a few profiles you genuinely want to write to.
VIP Plus sits above VIP. Each VIP Plus plan is priced a little higher than the matching VIP plan, and it brings the wider set of member tools. The exact list of what each tier includes appears inside the members area when you choose a plan, so you can compare the two before paying.
If you are unsure which to pick, start with VIP. You can move up later if you find you want what VIP Plus adds.
Choosing a plan length
There is no right length for everyone. Think about how you actually date.
One week suits someone who wants to test whether there are couples or singles near them worth talking to, or a couple who has already found a few promising profiles and wants to start those conversations.
One month gives you room for the steps that matter: several message exchanges, a video call, and a first meet in public. A threesome rarely comes together in a few days, and it should not.
Three or six months suit couples and singles who know that the right match takes time, especially outside large metro areas, where there are fewer people within easy travelling distance. Longer plans also let you take breaks between dates without worrying about a deadline.
Twelve months suits people who see this as part of their lives for the foreseeable future, and who prefer a plan that ends on its own rather than renewing.
Before you choose a plan
A membership opens conversations; it does not guarantee a match. Before you pay, spend some time on the parts of the site you can use without one:
- Set up a profile that says who you are, what you want and what is off the table.
- Add clear photos you would be happy for any reader to see.
- Browse couples and singles near you and see how they describe themselves.
- Read how it works so you know the steps from a first message to a first meet.
When you have a shortlist of people you would like to talk to, a plan makes sense.
Paying discreetly
Discretion matters to couples and singles alike. Think about which card you use, who else can see your statements, and which email address is linked to your profile. A dedicated email address for dating keeps notifications out of a shared inbox. Our trust and safety page has more habits for keeping your private life private.
When a plan ends
When a membership ends, whether a twelve-month plan has run its course or you cancelled a shorter one, you keep your profile. There is no need to write it again from scratch if you decide to return.
A pause can be useful. Couples sometimes need time after a first date to talk through how it felt, and a single may simply want a few quiet weeks. If you step away, tell anyone you were in conversation with, briefly and kindly, so nobody is left waiting for a reply.
Before you choose a new plan, reread your profile together. Hopes and limits shift with experience, and a description written months ago may no longer match what you want. Update it first, so the people who write to you are answering who you are now.
Other currencies
We are a US-first site and show prices here in US dollars. If you pay in another currency, the amount is shown to you at checkout before you confirm anything.
A word on paying anyone else
Your own membership, bought through our checkout, is the one payment that belongs on 3Threesomes. Nobody you meet on 3Threesomes should ever ask you for money: not for travel, not for a hotel, not for "verification", not for gift cards. Whoever asks is a scammer, no matter how moving the tale. Report them, block them and stop replying. Read more in how to find a real third.
Is a membership right for you?
A membership is worth it when you know what you are looking for and are ready to put time into conversations. If you are still deciding with your partner whether a threesome is something you both want, wait. Read talking to your partner about bringing in a third together first. If you are a single who wants to understand how couples like to be approached, read the guide for single men approaching couples or, for women, bi women meeting couples safely.
The membership tools themselves are described on features.
Before you choose a plan
A few questions make the choice easier:
- Have you finished your profile? Write it and add photos first, so the plan you buy is spent on conversations, not set-up.
- Do you want the extra member tools of VIP Plus, or is messaging what matters? The members area lists what each tier includes.
- Would you rather a plan that renews, or one that simply ends? Plans shorter than a year renew until cancelled; the twelve-month plans end on their own.
- Who in a couple manages the membership? Agree it, so nobody is surprised by a renewal.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use 3Threesomes before choosing a plan?
Yes. Profile set-up, photos and browsing come first, with no plan needed. A VIP or VIP Plus membership is what opens messaging, so you can start conversations when you are ready.
Does my plan renew automatically?
Every plan shorter than a year renews at its listed price until cancelled. A twelve-month plan ends without renewing.
How do VIP and VIP Plus differ?
Either one opens messaging. VIP Plus is priced a little more at every length and adds further member tools. The members area lists exactly what each one includes.
How do I cancel?
Cancel before the current period ends, and a shorter plan will not renew.
Which currency are the prices in?
The prices shown are in US dollars. If you pay in a different currency, the amount appears at checkout before you confirm.
Will anyone on the site ask me for money?
They should not. The only payment is for your own membership through the checkout. Report anyone who asks you for money, travel fares, gift cards or fees.
